Notice of Completion of New Plant (Hanno Plant)

TOKYO SEIMITSU CO., LTD (the Company) announces that its Hanno Plant, which has been under construction in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, was completed today.

In recent years, the global demand for semiconductors and electronic components has been expanding due to the spread of the next-generation communication standard "5G," the advancement of in-vehicle technologies such as EVs and autonomous driving, as well as the development of network infrastructure associated with AI and IoT, and this has led to an increase in demand for the Company’s semiconductor production equipment (SPE) among semiconductor manufacturers, outsourced manufacturers, and electronic component manufacturers. To meet these needs, it has become essential to expand the Company’s production capacity. With the completion of the new Hanno plant, production capacity of the Company’s SPE to increase by about 50%.

Wafer probing machines, which will be mainly manufactured at the new plant, are important product for the Company as the market likely to expand due to the increasing precision of semiconductor devices. Through the new plant, the Company intends to contribute to customers' manufacturing by providing products with high performance and quality.
