Establishment of Joint Venture Company "AA Diamond Technology Co., Ltd.”

Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tokyo Seimitsu”) and Asahi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Asahi Diamond”) have established a joint venture company as of May 9, 2025.
Details of the joint venture are as follows.

2. Future Initiatives
First, a pilot line will be established in Asahi Diamond's Chiba Tsurumai Factory in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, to develop and test manufacture high-quality, competitively priced hub blades by combining Asahi Diamond's strength in diamond tool development with Tokyo Seimitsu's strength in dicing application technology. A mass production plant will be constructed at a different location, and mass production and sales will commence in the second half of FY2027, aiming for a 10~20% share of the market in the initial stage. The hub blade market is estimated to exceed 30 billion yen in FY2023.
