The system can be used with a 2-mm clearance (a 1-mm clearance can be selected as well)

When the sensor is installed with a 1-mm clearance, as it typically is, there is a risk of collision at a machining center where tools are changed at a high speed.
Doubling the gap between the tool and the sensor head reduces the risk of physical contact.
* A controller supporting the wider gap specification is required. The E-RD10 controller can be modified to support this specification.


This specification helps reduce the downtime caused by a sensor head failure, the time required for sensor replacement, and the cost of maintenance sensors.

* When using the protection cap for the 2-mm gap specification, install the sensor so that the gap from the tool holder is 1.5 mm.

Display Unit (option)

By using the optional display unit, you can check the measurement results right in front of you.
In addition, all other operations such as sensor adjustment and grading point setting can be performed with this one unit.
