Intuitive Simple Operability
The application has an intuitive and simple user interface, allowing everyone toexperience more comfortable operability. It's possible to switch to the desiredoperation with "one click". There is also a password lock function, therefore no risk of settings being changed carelessly.

Assess remote site status in real-time via an Ethernet connection, and alleviate the burden of site patrols.
"Sensor Check" function allows you to quickly check the sensor status, enabling quick recoveryfrom failures. It is now possible to utilize past data from defects by chip biting and quickly analyzethe cause of abnormality. This is a new function that has never existed before.
Operational Stability
The operating ambient temperature is 0-50℃ (Conventionally 0-40℃).
Operation is stable in summer and in places with high ambient temperatures.
Wider Gap Specification
The system can be used with a 2-mm clearance (a 1-mm clearance can be selected as well)
When the sensor is installed with a 1-mm clearance, as it typically is, there is a risk of collision at a machining center where tools are changed at a high speed.
Doubling the gap between the tool and the sensor head reduces the risk of physical contact.
* A controller supporting the wider gap specification is required. The E-RD10 controller can be modified to support this specification.
This specification helps reduce the downtime caused by a sensor head failure, the time required for sensor replacement, and the cost of maintenance sensors.
Protection Cap for the 2-mm Gap Specification
Higher wear resistance than that of the existing standard product
The hard cap, made 90% of silica, provides protection against chips.
* When using the protection cap for the 2-mm gap specification, install the sensor so that the gap from the tool holder is 1.5 mm.
Display Unit (option)
By using the optional display unit, you can check the measurement results right in front of you.
In addition, all other operations such as sensor adjustment and grading point setting can be performed with this one unit.
