Automatic machining and automatic inspection processes in which robots are used to connect the processing machine and a coordinate measuring machine and the workpieces are discharged by AGVs.

 

A fully automated measurement cell that uses a workloader to connect to the machining line and combines industrial robots and AGVs with multiple measuring machines to perform 3D coordinate measurement and surface roughness and contour measurement in parallel.

Measurement process set up on processing line, with workpieces from previous processes transported to measuring instruments with robots, to begin automatic measurements

i. Workpieces transported on conveyors are automatically moved to washing machines with robots
ii. Washed workpieces moved to 3D coordinate measurement with robot → shape measurement
iii. Failed workpieces sent to failed chute, passed workpieces transported to next process
