Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called "Our company") newly launched "Opt-scope NEX", a new model of the 3-dimensional white light interferometer microscope Opt-scopes series that can evaluate widely from sub-nanometer roughness through millimeter shape.

Opt-scope can measure fine surface roughness and geometry at nano- and sub-nanometer-level with high accuracy by white-light interferometry that uses our company's unique envelope/absolute phase detection algorithm DEAP. In addition, the focus-variation microscopy enables the millimeter-level shape measuring including the slopes of the high angles that was difficult to perform with the white light interferometry. Building on these features, Opt-scope has contributed to state-of-the-art manufacturing in the automotive, semiconductor manufacturing equipment industries, and among others.
On this occasion, Opt-scope NEX that will be launched as a new model has adopted a NEX platform with superior expandability and usability, and gained from our contact surface roughness measuring instrument SURFCOM NEX (DX2/SD2).
The thick and large workpiece measurement that was difficult to install using an existing model of Opt-scope becomes possible, this is a platform system with high-level expandability that can realize automation and labor-savings through various kinds of approaches in response to selectable base-column sizes, up-and-down motion stroke on a wide measurement part, electric left-and-right feed of a column, and XY electric stage.
Furthermore, we prepare all-in-one floor installation DX type with the features of comfortable operability and reduced footprint or SD type that can be installed on the desktop and is easy to secure the installation place. You can select a type that best suits your installation environment.
